Low-cement castable

Description:

Low-cement refractory castable is a  deflocculated refractory castable with calcium oxide content introduced by cement from 1.0% to 2.5%, belonging to a new type unshaped refractories with low binder content . They utilize ultrafine particles no larger than 1 μm, along with calcium aluminate cement and silica fume, and optimize particle size distribution based rheological principles and the theory of closest packing, resulting in low porosity and high bulk density. Compared to conventional castable, they require less water during construction (4%-6%) and maintain strength at medium and high temperatures without degradation, while offering superior thermal shock resistance, slag resistance, and erosion resistance compared to similar refractory brick.
